‘Sorry’ board game

‘Sorry’ board game

This ‘Sorry’ board game is both very old and very modern. It’s originally based on an ancient Indian game called pachisi. Our set dates from the 1930s but ‘Sorry’ is still played today, and is also known as Ludo or Coppit. Each player tries to move all their pieces around the board faster than the other players. You can send other player’s pieces back to the start – which is why it’s called Sorry!
