Susie has been working from home since March 2020 as well as home-schooling her daughter Juliette when the schools were shut. This has been particularly challenging because they only have one laptop in the house.  

Susie works for a university support service, helping students with financial advice. Susie has been working from home since March 2020 as well as home-schooling her daughter when the schools were shut. This has been particularly challenging because they only have one laptop in the house.

Juliette’s dad lives in Oxford and has been shielding, so he hasn’t been able to see their daughter for a long time.

‘We had a challenge: she wanted to climb every single tree in Greenwich Park… if I had a little image in my mind of lockdown, it would be me, standing underneath a tree whilst my daughter climbs to the top’
