This is the arm of a statue which was found during an archaeological dig in Greenwich Park in 1902. We know the statue showed a woman and as it has traces of paint, that it was probably once brightly coloured.
The statue dates from the time when the Romans lived here in England. Archaeologists think that the area of the Park in which she was discovered was once either a Roman house or maybe a temple.
Where might the rest of the statue have gone? What might she have looked like?
